Greek Yoghurt Medley
A simple and delicious way to snack pre-run, throw away your boring snack yoghurt and invest in a larger pot to last you a few days:
Ingredients:
65g of Greek Yoghurt
30g Granola
30g of fresh fruit chunks
Teaspoon maple syrup
Method:
Fill your bowl with a generous portion of greek yoghurt, now add a sprinkling of granola, fresh berries or chunks of apple, then finish with a drizzle of maple syrup.
Cottage Cheese Pancakes
These fluffy beauties can be topped with fresh fruit or dried fruit or just a touch of honey. Naturally gluten free they are perfect for when you have a bit more time in the morning on a weekend:
Ingredients:
65g of cottage cheese
65g of rolled oats (no pre-cooking necessary)
3 eggs
Method:
Whisk together in a bowl until you have a smooth batter
Fry in a pan with a little coconut oil or butter on medium heat until lightly browned.
The Fake Fry-Up
Feeling sad because you’ve not had a naughty treat this week? Spend a bit of time and make this fake fry-up (fake because it’s not nearly as bad for you as the real deal:
Ingredients:
2 eggs
2 Rashers of Turkey Bacon
30g of Baked Beans
1 slice of seeded brown bread
Method:
Poach your eggs to cook them the healthiest way possible, then fry two rashers turkey bacon in a little olive oil. Meanwhile, heat up a small portion of baked beans in a pan, and toast yourself a slice of seeded brown bread.
Eggy Avocado Toast
Avocado is a pretty BIG deal to us at Do it Crowd, rich in taste and protein this breakfast has everything your body wants at the start of the week:
Ingredients:
2 Slices of seeded brown bread
Whole Avocado
2 Eggs
Method:
Lightly toast your bread, then smash on and spread your avocado into a rich paste. Lightly poach two eggs and pop them on top, and sprinkle on a little black pepper.
Peanut Butter Smoothie
Perfect for those days when you are in a rush – you can pop all the ingredients in a blender and get it done fast:
Ingredients:
1 Frozen Banana
2 Tablespoons of Peanut Butter
1 Cup Almond Milk
Few ice cubes
Method:
Throw the banana, peanut butter and almond milk in a blender and blend. When you have a smooth mixture, pop in your ice cubes to cool and make it delicious. Carry with you and drink as you please!
